Ha Lam, Ph.D., is a seasoned cryptographer and security engineer currently serving as a Senior Applied Cryptographer at Oracle since 2022. Previously, Ha held positions including Senior Security Engineer at Oblong Industries Inc., where responsibilities included developing a licensing system and implementing encryption solutions. As a Postdoc Researcher at Ericsson, Ha participated in research that led to a publication and a patent related to encryption performances. Ha has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Queens College and was the Entrepreneurial Lead of a Big Data Encryption team for the NSF ICorps program. Ha holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Queens College.
