Dr. Harold Carr is a recognized expert in Remoting Systems, having completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Utah focused on Distributed C++. Carr has published papers and holds patents for the PEPT (Presentation, Encoding, Protocol, Transport) Remoting System, which was applied to CORBA and SOAP platforms during their tenure at Sun Microsystems and Oracle. With extensive experience in programming language design at companies such as HP Labs and Autodesk, Carr also contributed to circuit simulation at Cirrus Logic. Currently, Carr works at Oracle Labs, researching privacy-enhancing technologies and previously studying consensus algorithms.
