Jacob Solomon

Jacob Solomon is a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction and Human Factors Engineering, specializing in designing systems that enhance decision-making. They conducted significant research at Michigan State University as a Research Assistant, focusing on user behavior and the design of online communities. Jacob held roles as a UX Researcher and Designer at the University of Michigan and as a Research Fellow at Michigan Medicine, where they developed decision aids for healthcare. At athenahealth, they contributed to user-centered design research, and currently, as a Principal Data Scientist at Oracle, they continue to leverage their expertise in data science and user experience. Jacob holds a PhD in Media and Information Studies from Michigan State University, alongside a Master's in Information from the University of Michigan and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Russian from the University of Utah.
