James Carson

James Carson is an Account Director at Oracle, where they work with higher education institutions across the UK to modernise and optimise data platforms. Their role involves providing both license-based and cloud-based solutions, enabling universities to manage critical workloads and adopt hybrid cloud architectures. James has a strong background in consultative enterprise sales and focuses on developing long-term strategic partnerships with CIOs and IT leaders. Prior to joining Oracle in 2025, they held teaching positions and management roles in various international schools, including UWC South East Asia and Garden International School in Thailand. James holds a degree from the University of Warwick.
