James Simpson

James Simpson is a Senior Manager in Knowledge and Process Engineering at Oracle, where they lead initiatives in documentation and process standardization. With a diverse background in education and technology, James began their career as an AP English Teacher and later transitioned to various roles in the tech industry, including Content Strategist and Team Lead at Rackspace Technology. Additionally, they serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of the Incarnate Word, teaching courses in educational research. James holds a PhD in Education with a focus on International Education and Entrepreneurship and is passionate about using free and open-source software to enhance access to information. They are also an accomplished musician, performing as a banjoist and drummer in multiple bands.
