Jan Ackerman

Jan Ackerman has extensive experience in talent acquisition, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Oracle since March 2003, Jan has progressed through various leadership roles, including Vice President titles for both JAPAC and APAC recruiting. Jan's responsibilities have encompassed strategic planning and expanding recruitment operations across key Asia Pacific markets such as China, Japan, and Vietnam. Prior to this, Jan held roles as Senior Director and Director of Recruitment within Oracle, including a significant assignment at Oracle India to restructure the recruitment team. Jan's recruitment expertise originated at Oracle Corporation USA from 1997 to 2001 as a Senior Technical Recruiter, focusing on specialized recruiting for technical and executive professionals across diverse industries. Jan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.
