Jeff Dinkins

Jeff Dinkins has extensive experience in engineering management, predominantly in the Java domain. Since February 2010, Jeff has served as Engineering Manager for Java Core Libraries at Oracle, overseeing a geographically distributed team across Ireland, California, Seattle, and Boston. Prior to this role, Jeff managed various teams at Sun Microsystems from June 1990 to February 2010, including responsibilities for Java 2D, Internationalization, and Java DB, while leading international teams in multiple countries. Jeff has a solid engineering background, having designed and implemented key Swing components and contributed to several projects throughout a career that began with an internship at ReloAction, Inc. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
