Jeff Specht

Jeff Specht serves as the VP of Government Security at Oracle since March 2022, previously holding the role of Senior Director in the same department. Prior to Oracle, Specht was the Director of the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) from December 2018 to February 2022, overseeing the DoD’s advanced cyber forensics lab with a team of approximately 500 and managing a budget of about $162 million. From November 2012 to December 2018, Specht was the Executive Director at the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), acting as the Chief Operating Officer for the agency with a global team of around 3,400 personnel. Specht also held the position of Deputy Director at the National Reconnaissance Office from July 2011 to November 2012, leading 600 professionals in security and counterintelligence. Early career roles at AFOSI included Director of the Air Force Special Investigations Academy and Special Agent in Charge at multiple locations. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College, an MPA from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from the same institution.
