Jim Boardman is a Global Data Center and Lab Design Engineer at Oracle and has held that position since 2016. Prior to this, Jim served as a Capacity Manager for Data Centers and Labs at Ericsson from 2011 to 2016, where responsibilities included planning space, power, and cooling for the Silicon Valley campus. Jim also has experience as an Engineering Lab Manager at Ericsson, overseeing lab operations to support various engineering disciplines. Earlier in their career, Jim managed global data center and lab design for RadioLAN and Mayan Networks from 1995 to 2000. Jim graduated as a US Air Force Metrology Technician from Lowry Air Force Base between 1984 and 1989 and is a certified data center expert, professional, specialist, and facility operations manager.
