John Parker

John Parker is an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect at Oracle since July 2018, with a robust background in database management and engineering. Previously, John worked at NetApp from March 2008 to April 2018 in multiple roles, including Sr. Global Engineering Alliance Manager, where responsibilities included managing the engineering relationship with Microsoft, and Technical Marketing Manager, overseeing a team that built solutions for Microsoft applications on NetApp Storage. Earlier in John's career, significant roles included Data Services Production Lead at Micron Technology, where responsibilities encompassed database administration and high availability management, and Database Administrator for the Idaho Army National Guard, focusing on operational databases. John holds a Master’s degree in Instructional & Performance Technology from Boise State University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
