John Rekart

John Rekart, Ph.D., is currently the Acting Executive Medical Director at Oracle Cerner, managing a team of physician informaticists focused on EHR implementation and optimization for federal clients. Previously, they activated and ran a 1700-bed correctional inpatient care facility and successfully led the design and deployment of Cerner across 35 sites. With a strong background in behavioral health and data analytics, John has significantly contributed to improving clinical outcomes and has shared their insights at numerous industry conferences, including HIMSS. John holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and began their education at Ohlone College, ultimately earning a B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University.
