Jun Tong

Jun Tong is a seasoned software development leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Development at Oracle since 2020, Jun Tong oversees critical services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including OCI Vault, Public Key Infrastructure, and OCI Bastions, while also driving the development of strategic security products. Prior to Oracle, Jun Tong held significant roles at Amazon Web Services and Amazon, leading teams focused on scalable services, resource management, and inventory optimization. Jun Tong began a career at Alcatel-Lucent as an R&D Director, managing diverse teams for wireless network products. Jun Tong holds a PhD in System Simulation Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Automatic Control from Beihang University.
