Kirk Thacker

Kirk Thacker has extensive experience in sales and engineering, spanning several decades in prominent technology companies. Currently serving as a Distinguished Sales Consultant at Oracle since March 2006, Kirk previously held the position of Master Principal Sales Consultant. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Solution Engineer at Siebel Systems from December 1999 to March 2006 and Sales Consultant at SELECT SOFTWARE TOOLS PLC from 1996 to 1999. Kirk also directed Young Adult Ministries at the Lutheran Church from 1990 to 1995 and worked as a Principal Software Engineer at NCR Corporation from 1985 to 1990. Additional roles include Senior Systems Engineer at Motorola Computer Group and Systems Programmer at Sperry Univac. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa, along with studies at Iowa State University and Bethel Seminary-St. Paul.
