Mark Stott

Mark Stott is a Principal Security Researcher at Oracle, actively engaged in security consulting with a specialization in hardware security. Previously, Mark served as a Security Consultant at IOActive, where they identified critical vulnerabilities in IoT devices and web applications, and at BT, where they conducted penetration testing and developed a "Hardware Hacking" training course. Mark's extensive background includes leadership roles in software engineering and security analysis across various organizations, beginning with a data input clerk position at British Gas. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Computing from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Software Development from The University of Salford.
