Matthew Olson

Matthew Olson is an AI researcher currently working as a Principal Applied Scientist at Oracle, focusing on multimodal machine learning. Previously, they served as a Machine Learning Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they improved predictions for sim-to-real fusion experiment data and developed innovative models. With experience as a Consultant at ML Olson Consulting, they enhanced accuracy in semi-supervised multi-label learning and reduced manufacturing error rates. Matthew also completed a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and authored several impactful research papers during their time at Oregon State University.
