Megan Mitchell

Senior Human Factors Researcher

Megan Mitchell is a seasoned Senior Human Factors Researcher with extensive experience in user research for high-risk medical device software, particularly at Oracle since October 2022. In her role, Megan leads user research studies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and employs various research methodologies to gather critical user insights. Megan has been actively involved with the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine since 2013, serving as Program Committee Chair and overseeing large-scale annual conferences. Previously, Megan held senior researcher roles at Cerner Corporation, where Megan conducted formative and summative research, and worked at The Kessler Foundation Research Center as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitative Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and English from the University of Rochester.
