Michael Barsness

Michael Barsness has over two decades of experience in technology strategy, project management, and portfolio management, primarily at Oracle since 2001. Currently serving as Director of Technology Strategy and Infrastructure, Michael leads a team developing applications and systems that support Oracle’s real estate and workplace strategy for approximately 160,000 employees globally. Prior roles include Director of the Global IT Project Management Office, overseeing extensive portfolios of concurrent global IT projects, and Senior Portfolio Manager, managing IT project teams across multiple regions. Additional experience includes project management at AutoWeb, where Michael launched e-commerce products, and at AMD, where responsibility included a critical corporate cost management system replacement. Michael holds an MBA from San José State University, alongside executive education and a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from accredited institutions.
