Paul Dale

Paul Dale is a distinguished architect and member of the OpenSSL Technical Committee, recognized as a FIPS 140 expert. With extensive experience in software engineering across various domains, they have contributed significantly to fields such as embedded computing, high-performance computing, and cryptography. Previously, Paul has held notable roles, including Principal Engineer at SnapGear, Distinguished Architect at Oracle, and OpenSSL Fellow, where they were responsible for achieving critical FIPS 140 certifications. Paul is currently a member of the business advisory committee for OpenSSL Corporation and continues to engage in technical and advisory capacities within the open-source community. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Queensland.
