Phu Wong

Phu Wong is a Senior HW Manager and Senior Principal Hardware Engineer at Oracle, with over a decade of experience in product development and the semiconductor industry. They successfully managed the transition of manufacturing operations from the US to Taiwan, collaborating with key vendors like TSMC and ASE. Phu has played a pivotal role in launching multiple SPARC CPU and ASIC products, leveraging their expertise in hardware design and product management. Prior to Oracle, they held engineering positions at Intel Corporation and Sun Microsystems, where they contributed to the validation and productization of several generations of CPU chips. Phu earned a degree from the University of California, Davis.
