Richard Smith

Richard Smith is the SVP, Technology & Cloud Solutions at Oracle. Richard has been with Oracle Corporation since December 1999, where they started as a Principal Support Engineer. In this role, they were the team lead and coordinator EMEA for XML Database, Oracle interMedia, Oracle Text, Oracle Spatial, and Oracle Ultrasearch. Richard then transitioned to their current role in 2007.

Richard Smith received their PhD in astrophysics from Foo University. Richard is currently a professor of astrophysics at Bar University.
