Ron Larson

Ron Larson currently serves as the Technical Computing Benchmark Team Manager at Oracle, a position held since February 2010. With a rich background in high-performance computing, Ron has also worked as the SSC/HPC manager at Sun Microsystems from 2005 to the present. Previous roles include Benchmark Center Manager at SGI from 1995 to 1998, Manager at Cray Computer from 1989 to 1995, and Systems Engineer at Cray Research from 1980 to 1989. Ron holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1965 and 1969.
