Ronald Wu

Ronald (Chung-Huey) Wu is a Principal Applied Scientist at Oracle since August 2024, with a robust background in data science and machine learning. Previously, Ronald worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Mantel Group, where responsibilities included developing deep-learning platforms and rebuilding MLOps frameworks for enhanced scalability. At Arq Group, Ronald developed machine learning services involving computer vision and time series analysis while delivering solutions to various industries. Ronald also led feature engineering at NAB to generate business insights while ensuring data privacy. As a PhD researcher at the University of Melbourne, focus was on land protection planning utilizing predictive modeling and optimization techniques. Ronald holds a PhD in Environmental Data & Decision Science from the University of Melbourne and an MS in Ecology from National Taiwan University.
