Scott O'Connor is a Principal Software Engineer at Oracle, specializing in low-level software, drivers, and firmware since 2010. With extensive experience in embedded solutions and an in-depth understanding of bootloaders and embedded Linux, Scott has also led the development of x64 Telco NEBS-based Rack Mount Servers. Prior to Oracle, Scott worked at Sun Microsystems from 1988 to 2004, where they were the lead writer for SCSI host bus device drivers. Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 1986 and 1989.
