Scott Shepard is an experienced Software Architect and Engineering Manager currently serving as Vice President of Software Development at Oracle. From 1998 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at BBN Technologies, where they contributed to patents and published papers while building reliable distributed systems. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at GenRad, leading teams in software architecture and integration.
