Sean Sweeney

Sean Sweeney is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Field CISO and Security Advisor Team at Oracle, Sweeney has previously held significant positions at Microsoft, including Global Chief Security Advisor and Chief Security Advisor for the Americas and US Health and Life Sciences. Additionally, Sweeney has contributed to academia as an Affiliate Practice Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh's Institute of Cyber Policy, Law, and Security, and has served as Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Pittsburgh. Earlier in Sweeney's career, a role as Chief Technology Officer at Litigation Management Group (LITMG, LLC) was assumed. Sweeney's academic credentials include a degree from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy and studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
