Shane McCarthy has over 27 years of experience at Oracle, currently serving as Director of the ACS Provisioning Success Team in the Global Solution Center, overseeing the transition of Managed Cloud Services deals and maintaining the ACS quoting system. Prior roles include Senior Manager and Technical Manager, where Shane managed global teams and ensured compliance with customer contractual entitlements. As a Technical Architect, standard end-to-end architectures were designed, and as Project Lead, Shane integrated Oracle Database Server products across UNIX platforms. Beginning as a Software Engineer in 1996, Shane was instrumental in developing and enhancing Oracle Database Server products on various platforms. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from University College Cork.
