Soohyun Hwang

Soohyun (Ariel) Hwang, PhD, MPH, is a Senior Research Consultant with over nine years of experience in designing and conducting research studies aimed at improving health outcomes and quality of care. Currently, Soohyun works as the Evidence Generation Lead at Oracle and previously served as a Research Scientist at VivoSense, Inc., managing research on wearable sensor data. Their experience includes roles at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, where they contributed to qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Soohyun holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from Ewha Womans University.
