Sumesh Vadassery is a highly experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Oracle since November 2024, Vadassery previously held the position of VP of Software Engineering/Infra at Conviva. At PayPal, from February 2013 to April 2024, Vadassery was pivotal as Head of Cloud Engineering & Operations, overseeing large-scale technology transformations and infrastructure modernization for thousands of microservices and servers. Additional experience includes leadership roles at eBay, Microsoft, and Visionics India Pvt Ltd, where Vadassery developed key APIs, enhanced merchant integration platforms, and specialized in C++ development. Vadassery holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
