Sumith Mathew

Sumith Mathew is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Software Development for Healthcare AI at Oracle since September 2025, Sumith previously held various senior management roles at Amazon, developing systems for Artificial General Intelligence and Alexa AI from September 2013 to September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Manager at Deloitte in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sector from 2004 to 2013, and working at Sun Microsystems as a Staff Engineer in microelectronics and eCommerce applications from 1997 to 2004. Sumith holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
