Tejas Kumar

Tejas Kumar is a seasoned professional in the technology sector with extensive experience in developer relations and software engineering. Currently serving as a Developer Relations Engineer for Generative AI at DataStax and an Advisor at Orama, Tejas holds multiple investor positions including Director of Developer Relations at CrabNebula and various investments in Flightcontrol and OpenSauced. Tejas founded a Full-Service DevRel Consultancy and previously directed developer relations at Xata.io, where a successful team was built from the ground up post-launch. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Spotify, contributing to the development of Backstage, and Engineering Lead at G2i Inc., overseeing engineering efforts in a developer marketplace. Tejas began a career in engineering management at Contiamo, leading front-end development initiatives. Education was completed at Ideal Indian School from 1997 to 2010.
