Matt Smith has over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry. Matt began their career in 2008 as a Reliability Engineering Intern at Navistar Inc. In 2009, they joined John Deere as a Product Development Specialist, where they conducted dynamometer testing of pre-production engines and prototype equipment. In 2010, they became the National Service Manager at Smith Electric Vehicles, where they were responsible for the scheduling and organization of all Service, Campaign, and Retrofit work for Smith Electric Vehicles in North America. Matt managed a team of mobile and remotely based Technicians and oversaw and maintained Field Service database and customer reporting. In 2015, they moved to Orange EV as the National Service Director.
Matt Smith attended the University of Central Missouri from 2005 to 2009, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Automotive Management Technology.
