Wayne Mathisen

Wayne Mathisen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Orange EV, a company that manufactures electric vehicles. Wayne has over 25 years of experience in the business world, most notably in real estate, fleet operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mathisen got their start in the business world in 1993 when they became the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Sprint Nextel. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of Sprint's merger with Nextel. This position gave Mathisen valuable experience in dealing with large-scale business transactions.

In 2005, Mathisen left Sprint to become the Director of Real Estate and Fleet Operations for CenturyLink / Embarq. In this role, they were responsible for managing a 20 million square foot real estate portfolio and a 10,000 vehicle fleet. Wayne also had a broad leadership role, managing over 300 employees and overseeing an operating budget of $180 million.

In 2011, Mathisen left CenturyLink to start their own business valuation company, The Value Bridge. The Value Bridge serves small to mid-sized businesses in the Kansas City metro area. Mathisen leverages their experience in valuation and negotiation to help their clients improve their outcomes in major business events.

In 2014, Mathisen co-founded Orange EV with their son Tyler. Orange EV manufactures electric vehicles for commercial use. The company has experienced rapid growth under Mathisen's leadership, and today is one of the leading manufacturers of electric vehicles in the United States.
