Sr. Project Manager at Orange Logic

Marina Powers has worked in a variety of roles across a range of industries. In 2020, they began working as a Sr. Project Manager for Orange Logic. From 2015-2020, they worked at Chainbridge Technologies, where they held the role of Project Manager and Program Analyst. During this time, they managed a 5+ million dollar budget, Agile development cycle, resources and operations for 15 concurrent technical projects, and led steering committees and focus groups of senior government officials. In 2014, they were a Teaching Fellow at Shihezi University, where they developed curriculums for and taught U.S. politics, theology, mythology, poetry and oral English to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students. From 2013-2014, they worked as an Administrative Clerk for ORAU, where they developed strong relationships with government officials and subject matter experts in the radiological/nuclear community. From 2011-2013, they were a Cellist and Gig Manager for The Georgetown String Quartet.

Marina Powers attended Georgetown University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a major in International Politics and International Security. In January 2018, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In May 2014, they obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Princeton in Asia.
