Christian Gacon

Christian Gacon is an accomplished telecommunications executive with extensive experience in network design, operations, and management. Currently serving as Vice President of Broadband Networks at Orange since November 2014, Christian leads a team responsible for the fixed access network, home network, and optical backbone infrastructure, addressing challenges such as 5G and fiber deployment and internet traffic growth while minimizing costs and environmental impact. Previous roles include Director of the Orange Labs site in Lannion and Vice President of Wireline Networks and Infrastructure, where Christian supported strategic implementations across Orange affiliates. Prior to Orange, Christian held leadership positions at m2ocity and France Telecom, contributing to product development, marketing, and operational efficiency. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in telecommunication engineering from Télécom Paris and a General Management Program at CEDEP.
