Luis M. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Luis started their career in 2019 as an Android Developer at Hunter Ecuador, where they designed UI mockups and developed a native Android mobile application from scratch. Luis also worked on maintaining and upgrading cross-platform mobile applications for GPS tracking systems.

In 2020, Luis worked as a Teaching Assistant at ESPOL, where they assisted in reviewing and grading homework, preparing teaching materials, and conducting extra classes for Control Systems and Programming of Telematic Systems courses.

As a Research Assistant at ESPOL in 2021, Luis contributed to various research projects. Luis then joined Hunter Ecuador again in 2019 as a Frontend Developer, focusing on UI mockup design and technology upgrades for cross-platform mobile applications.

From 2022 to 2023, Luis worked at ioet Inc. in multiple roles. As a Full Stack Developer, they were responsible for backend development, API coding, and building a CRM from scratch using React, FastApi, and DynamoDB. Luis also played a role as a Junior Technical Lead, assisting the team in problem-solving and guiding them through technical challenges. Additionally, Luis served as a QA Lead, overseeing test plans, release testing, defect tracking, and root cause analysis.

Most recently, Luis joined OrangeLoops in 2023 as a Senior Frontend Developer.

Luis M. completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral from 2017 to 2022. In addition to their degree, they also obtained various certifications, including the EF SET English Certificate (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test in June 2023. Furthermore, they were named the Mechatronics Engineering Program Valedictorian at ESPOL in October 2022. Luis also holds certifications in Design Thinking, Lifelong Learning, Objective-C, JavaScript, SOLIDWORKS, Innovation Management, and NativeScript + Angular. These certifications were obtained from various institutions such as CertiProf, LinkedIn, and Academind between 2020 and 2021.
