Don Kim

Don Kim, P.E. has extensive experience in the nuclear engineering sector, currently serving as an Advisory Engineer at Framatome Inc. since June 2018, and previously holding the position of Supervisory Engineer at AREVA since April 2008. In these roles, Don Kim has been involved in numerous replacement and repair projects for critical nuclear power plant components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines. Key contributions include leading engineering proposals, conducting research for best practices, and implementing improvements. As a Principal Engineer, significant work was done on the US EPR Steam Generator partition plate analysis, and participation in the High Temperature Reactor unit's NGNP project. Don Kim holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
