Lopez Gerald

LOPEZ Gerald has extensive experience in the field of radioprotection, currently serving at Orano since October 2013 in various capacities, including responsibility for risk management, expert evaluations, and radioprotection. Key roles include leading the radioprotection unit for the Conditioning Operational Unit and overseeing radiological surveillance programs across different workshops at UP2-400. Prior to Orano, LOPEZ worked for the Marine Nationale from 1997 to 2013, advancing from technician roles to instructor and sector chief, managing nuclear monitoring systems and providing training in radioprotection. LOPEZ began a military career as an electrotechnician and has a solid educational background with multiple degrees in radioprotection and electrotechnics from recognized institutions.
