Michael McMurphy

Michael McMurphy currently serves as a Board Member at Orano USA, participating in Project Ike, a uranium enrichment initiative in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Michael holds the position of Senior Fellow at the United States Nuclear Industry Council and has extensive experience with AREVA, where Michael is a Member of Multiple Boards of Directors, including OranoMed and Orano Federal Services. Michael previously served as Senior Executive Vice President at AREVA, responsible for international Mining and Chemistry operations, and as Vice Chairman of the Board at Areva, Inc. Michael's career includes roles as President and CEO of Cogema, Inc., member of the Nuclear Energy Institute's Board of Directors, and legal counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy. Michael is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where Michael served as an officer and was involved in test development psychology. Michael holds a Doctor of Law from The University of Texas School of Law, a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from St. Mary's University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the United States Air Force Academy.
