Romain Broner

Romain Broner currently serves as the VP General Counsel for Export Control & International Sanctions at Orano since February 2024. Prior to this role, Romain was the Managing Counsel and Head of International Sanctions & Embargoes at CMA CGM from October 2021 to February 2024. Romain's experience includes a position as Project Leader for Export Control at MBDA, Manager of Global Export Controls & Sanctions at Deloitte, and Export Compliance Operations Manager at Airbus Helicopters. Romain's career began at EADS as an Export Compliance Officer. Academically, Romain holds multiple master’s degrees, including International Relations, Defense and Security, and Space and Telecommunication Law, as well as training in military leadership from the Higher Reserve Staff Officer School. Romain also pursued studies in legal careers and art history at prestigious institutions in Paris.
