Thomas Morisse is an experienced engineer currently working at Orano since August 2020 as an Ingénieur recherche/développement, specializing in the design of intervention tools for nuclear zones, mechanical structure pre-sizing, qualification testing, and technical document writing. Previously, Thomas served as a Technicien instrumentation et contrôle commande, focusing on the assembly of measurement tools, IoT solution deployment using LoRa networks, metrological control of measurement instruments, and project participation in the Instrumentation department. Additionally, Thomas worked as an Assistant chercheur at Saint Mary's University from January to April 2025, conducting studies on Aluminum-Silicon alloys, mechanical properties with the addition of Strontium and Vanadium, cooling curves, thermal analysis, and microstructure examination using scanning electron microscopy.
