Jay (Shih-Jie) Lo is a Senior Scientist at OraSure Technologies with over 12 years of multi-disciplinary research experience, specializing in device design, system integration, and data analytics. They have developed innovative solutions in point-of-care diagnostics, notably leading projects on molecular assays for Lassa fever and CCHF diagnosis. With a strong background in immunoassay development and device fabrication, Jay has authored seven publications and holds one US patent. They also have extensive mentoring experience, guiding more than 10 junior scientists and students throughout their career. Jay earned a PhD in NanoEngineering and MicroSystems and a Master's in Biotechnology from National Tsing Hua University.
