Howard Huang

Howard Huang is the Founder and CEO of Orbbec, a position held since January 2013. Prior to this role, Howard served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre from June 2011 to January 2013 and held a researcher position at The Chinese University of Hong Kong briefly in 2011. Earlier in career, Howard worked as an RPDF at Ryerson University in March 2010 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from March 2009 to March 2010. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Peking University, a Master's in Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong.
