Sunil Sharma

Sunil Sharma has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Their most recent position was Chief Operating Officer & Representative Director at ORBCOMM, where they started in April 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Sales and Operations at ORBCOMM. Before joining ORBCOMM, Sunil worked at Lumentum from 2010 to 2019, serving as the Director of Sales for OpCom/3DS Japan. Sunil also worked at Finisar Corporation as a Senior Applications Engineer from 2004 to 2010. Sunil's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Application Engineer at Infineon Technologies from 2002 to 2004 and as an R&D Engineer at Hitachi from 1996 to 2002. Sunil started their career as a Scientist at the Electronics Research and Development Center, DoE, Government of India, from 1992 to 1996.

Sunil Sharma attended the National Institute of Technology Calicut from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
