Wayne McPherson

Wayne McPherson has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Wayne started their career as a Graduate Student at Carleton University in 1993 and then moved on to work at Vistar Telecommunications where they served as a Software Design Engineer, DSP Engineer, and later became the Manager of Embedded Software. In 2004, they joined Transcore GlobalWave as the Director of Applications Development. In 2009, they joined SkyWave Mobile Communications where they held various director positions including Director of Terminal SW and Application Engineering, Director of Product Development, Director of Satcom Engineering, and Director of Technical Support. In 2016, Wayne McPherson joined ORBCOMM as the Director of Technology and Applications. Wayne progressed within the company, assuming roles such as Senior Director of System Design and Verification, and currently serves as the Vice President of System Design and Verification.

Wayne McPherson pursued their education in the field of engineering. Wayne completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace: Electronics and Systems from Carleton University between 1989 and 1993. Wayne further advanced their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 1993 and 1996.
