Brandon Friedenstein

Brandon Friedenstein has extensive experience as a software engineer, focusing on embedded software development. From December 2022 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Orbex. Prior to that, from May 2021 to December 2022, they held the position of Embedded Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining Orbex, Brandon worked at Embedded IQ (Pty) Ltd. as a Software Engineer from March 2018 to May 2021. Brandon also had a role as a Software Developer at QuickPic from December 2017 to February 2018. Their software engineering career began at ETA operations in January 2016, where they worked as a Software Engineer until December 2017.

Brandon Friedenstein completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stellenbosch University, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Brandon then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in the same field from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit, where they studied from 2016 to 2017.
