Drew Niven has worked in the Human Resources field since 2017. Drew began their career as a Human Resources Assistant and Training & Development Assistant at Associated Seafoods Ltd. in 2017. In 2022, they joined Orbex as an HR & Administration Assistant.

Drew Niven attended Buckie High School from 2012 to 2017. In 2018, they obtained the Metal Detection (M&S Tiers A,B,C & D) certification from Loma Systems, the Human Resource Managment for Beginners certification from Acas, and the Level 2 Foundation HACCP Principles & Practices certification from Polaris Learning Ltd. In 2019, they obtained the Classroom TEFL course certification from The TEFL Academy - Leading EFL Teacher Trainer Provider, the Tackling Modern Slavery in UK Businesses certification from Stronger Together, the Level 3 Diploma in HR Practice certification from CIPD, and the Introduction to Internal Auditing and Managment certification from High Speed Training. In 2020, they obtained the Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, the Level 1 OISC Adviser (Immigration limited to EUSS Settlement Scheme) certification from OISC: Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner, the Immigration Adviser - Workplace Volunteer certification from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), the Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in Food & Drink Operations certification from Federation for Industry Sector Skills and Standards (FISSS), and the SVQ in Food & Drink Operations (SCQF Level 6) certification from Polaris Learning Ltd. In 2021, they obtained the Media Training certification from Clark, and in 2022 they obtained the Managing Underperformance certification from Acas.
