Flemming Nyboe has a diverse work experience in the field of aerospace and engineering. Flemming started their career in 2001 as an Analog IC designer at Texas Instruments, where they worked until 2008. In 2003, they joined the Technical University of Denmark as an Industrial PhD student, a role they held until 2006.

From 2008 to 2012, Flemming worked as a Senior Consultant at the Danish Technological Institute. Following this, they founded Rocket Science Lab in 2012 and served as the Owner until 2019.

In 2010, Flemming joined Copenhagen Suborbitals as a GNC designer, being responsible for Guidance, Navigation and Control. Prior to this, they were involved in rocket engine modeling.

Currently, Flemming is employed at Orbex as the Head of Avionics since 2016.

Flemming Nyboe pursued their education predominantly at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Flemming obtained their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronics and Acoustics from 1995 to 2001. Later, they pursued their PhD from 2003 to 2006 at the same institution, concentrating on IC Design of Class D Audio Amplifier Output Stages. Prior to their university studies, Flemming attended Svendborg Gymnasium, but specific details about their degree or field of study at this institution are unavailable.
