William Thornton

William Thornton is currently a Fluids Technical Lead at Orbex and a final year mechanical engineering student at the University of Canterbury. They have previously served as the Vice-President of the University's Aerospace club, where they led high power solid rocketry projects and fostered the development of aspiring aerospace students. With past experience as a Junior Consultant at INTENT Group Limited and various engineering roles at Rocket Lab, William possesses skills in SOLIDWORKS, Ansys Fluent, MATLAB, Python, and C#. They are passionate about pursuing a career in the aerospace industry.
