Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson is a Partner at OrbiMed and has over two decades of experience in the biotech industry. Peter was previously the CEO and Managing Director of Strategicon Partners, a venture capital firm, from 2001 to 2013. During that time, they also served as the Chairman and CEO of Trubion Pharmaceuticals from 2002 to 2009. Prior to their venture capital career, Peter worked as a research scientist at the University of Washington and co-founded Edgewise Therapeutics and Cleave BioSciences.

Peter Thompson has a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology and Mathematics from Brown University and an M.D. from Brown Medical School.
