Robert Bode

Robert Bode is an experienced Program Analyst at Orbis Inc since May 2018 and has remained semi-retired since the same time. Prior to this role, Robert served as Fleet Support Superintendent at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard from April 2015 to April 2018, where responsibilities included managing off-yard work and ensuring quality and budget compliance. Earlier positions at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard included Executive Director at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego, and various roles in Fleet Support, Strategic Planning, and Nuclear Operations from 2004 to 2015, as well as holding critical engineering and project management positions from 1981 to 2004. Robert began a professional journey as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy from 1976 to 1981. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Operations from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor's degree in Management from the College of Lifelong Learning. Additional training includes participation in USA Rugby Coaching Clinics.
